After the Sunday February 12 matinee performance of A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS, join me at Fred's Columbia Bar, on the lower level of The Geary Theater, for an afternoon celebrating the Bay Area Afghan Community!
The event will feature local vendors who will be selling Afghan clothes, handicrafts and jewelry. Also, Afghan percussionist Salar Nader will be performing.
No Afghan party is complete without delicious Afghan cuisine. A.C.T. is providing complimentary food from De Afghanan Kebab House.
The festivities will start immediately following the performance at approximately 4:30 p.m.
