CASTING CALL FOR AFGHAN ACTORS: MINDFIELD DIRECTED BY SAYED MAHDI

February 2, 2023

By Humaira

As an Afghan Cultural Advisor for plays, TV and film productions for over 14 years I’ve worked on a variety of different productions set in Afghanistan. One of the challenges I face is finding trained Afghan actors with experience to play some of the roles and I’m often asked by Afghans “Why aren’t there any Afghan actors in this show?”

Well, this is our chance to get our community to get involved in finding the right actor for this short film written and directed by an Afghan artist, Sayed Mahdi.

Role breakdown and submission details are listed below. I appreciate your help in getting the word out about this film.
